![]() ![]() If you want to become an artist, you can learn more about the benefits of this innovative program by enrolling in FireAlpaca course today. This is because the tool makes it easier for you to create linear style drawings and paintings. ![]() Lineart can be easily created using the rectangular shape tool which is included in the FireAlpaca drawing program. This is especially important for pictures with lots of shading. When scanning black and white images, make sure to choose the grayscale options. And you can also apply an array of colors such as red, blue, green and yellow to mix up the colors.įireAlpaca also lets you create simple lineart. If your comic is too large to scan at once, scan sections of it and use the lasso tool in Photoshop to move and combine the frames back together. You can apply highlights and shadows on your FireAlpaca artwork. It has obvious flaws.I forgot to mention that I use Firealpaca for almost all of my work. You can apply fillers such as paint stubs, blobs and creams. There are brush heads for various purposes such as outlining and filling in outlines and brush heads for creating fine details. There is also the pencil mode for easy handling of details such as thin lines and shadows.įireAlpaca also has some artistic features which make it attractive to professional artists. Another popular is the blend of style which is similar to brush drawing and allows you to blend several elements together. The most popular among these is the outline style which gives a realistic and clean look. There are a total of nine layer styles for your FireAlpaca drawings and paintings. If you are a professional cartoon artist or have an aspiring career as one, I highly recommend getting a version of MediBang.įireAlpaca is equipped with several advanced features that facilitate professional looking FireAlpaca artwork. These and many more features make this app a worthwhile investment. It includes a wide variety of drawing features including: draw over an image with the pen tool, draw a certain shape with the pen tool, draw a square or rectangle, erase some parts of the image, and add shadows and highlights to your image. Some of the drawing features of the MediBang are particularly useful if you are trying to learn cartoon drawing comic panels.Īnother major feature of the MediBang paint pro is its range of animation tools. You can move your finger around and experiment with different positions and perspectives until you find the best position and the right look. You can use this feature to get a rough sketch or to plan out the final composition. This feature lets you draw directly on any of the layers in the painting. The most useful feature of the software is its "draw anywhere" feature. You can change one of the layers at any time by choosing the desired layer and clicking on the layer change button. You can add more layers by right-clicking on one of the layers in the layers palette. There are four main layers which include: Top, Middle, Back, and Foreground. This is my first tutorial so sorry if its jank or lame looking I kinda got lazy making it lmao. The software offers a number of tools for managing layers in your picture. This isn't a method of blending btw, it's just piling on color and praying it works. I can color a whole piece with this method in about 1-3 hours (to me thats pretty fast ok I like detail). I prefer the look of lines and streaks it's more realistic (and cooler looking)ĭESPITE THE LOOKS AND ALL THE STEPS THIS WAY OF COLORING IS SUPER DUPER QUICK AND LAZY. It literally has 3 brushes usable for coloring. DON'T USE AIRBRUSH/BLUR I actually don't like the look of completely blended coloring (it reminds me of smudging ew) and it's really uncreative and basic imo (unless theres a way to make it not look like the stated? idk I haven't seen it) This is a method of doing something with the pencil tool! FIREALPACA SUCKS WITH ITS BRUSHES. The methods for coloring in FireAlpaca is so extremely limited, theres not much you can do besides cell shade, airbrush it, or do something with the pencil tool. ![]() Then thats done and I choose a different color and repeat the process. Tbh, I choose random colors, pencil tool it up, mess with the opacity, and slap it on. I was asked to make a tutorial on how I color/shade on FireAlpaca, so here it is! Don't wanna erase everything on the outside at the end? Use the magic tool/clipping tool/protect alpha your base color and color on top ( ´ ▽`)~ I just got lazy lmao ![]()
